The Explore Scientific 1.25" UHC nebula filter is an essential tool for enhancing your astronomical observations. This filter blocks most artificial light, allowing nebulae that you might not otherwise see under light-polluted skies to be revealed. By only letting through the emission lines of hydrogen and oxygen, this filter optimizes the visibility of deep-sky objects, such as the Owl Nebula or the Cirrus Nebula.
Features:
- Diameter: 1.25’’
- Blocks almost all artificial light
- Allows passage of the hydrogen (486 nm, 656 nm) and oxygen (496 nm, 501 nm) emission lines
Benefits:
- Significantly increases contrast for better observation of nebulae
- Allows detection of celestial objects that are difficult to see without a filter
- Improves clarity of observations under slightly illuminated skies
Compatibility:
- Compatible with 1.25’’ eyepiece holders
This Explore Scientific UHC filter is ideal for amateur astronomers looking to enhance their observation experience of deep-sky celestial objects.
