Sky-Watcher AD Motor with Hand Controller for EQ3-2

After setting up an equatorial mount, the Right Ascension (RA) axis is parallel to the Earth's rotation axis. To track celestial objects over a day, it is sufficient to make a complete turn on this axis in 24 hours, rotating in the opposite direction to the Earth's rotation.

This motor is designed to be mounted exclusively on EQ3-2 / NEQ3-2 type mounts. It allows for automatic rotation at sidereal speed (one turn in 24 hours) and movements in both directions with the hand controller, at various additional speeds for pointing, guiding, etc.
