The Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer 2i mount is a modular German equatorial mount that offers advanced features for astrophotography. It has a DC servo motor, a load capacity of 5 kg, and an aluminum gear wheel with 144 teeth.
The mount offers various tracking modes, including sidereal tracking, half-sidereal tracking, lunar (average lunar speed), and solar. It is also equipped with an integrated polar finder with an approximate field of view of 7°.
It has ports for ST-4 autoguiding, mini-USB, and SNAP (camera triggering). It can be powered by AA batteries or by an external DC 5V power supply via a mini USB port.
