The ZWO ASI990MM-P camera is a high-performance SWIR (Short-wave Infrared) camera, equipped with a monochrome Sony IMX990 CMOS sensor of 1.3 million pixels (5 μm). Designed for demanding scientific applications, it offers a wide spectral sensitivity of 400 nm to 1700 nm, optimized for infrared imaging in fields such as photometry, spectroscopy, optical communication, and laser research. Its active cooling with a two-stage Peltier module reduces thermal noise, ensuring exceptional image quality even during long exposures.
