Skywatcher collimation tool flowing 31,75mm

This collimation tool is a mechanical accessory that fits into the eyepiece holder of Newtonian telescopes and serves to collimate the telescope, i.e. to align the primary and secondary mirrors for correct light collection.

• 127mm (5") sighting tube
• 31.75 mm (1.25") Cheshire eyepiece

This tool allows for a clearer view of the internal cross and facilitates the collimation procedure.

Usage technique

The technique used with the system developed by Sky-Watcher is simple: by aiming at a uniformly illuminated surface and observing the position of the reflections of the primary and secondary mirrors on each other, it is possible to correctly align the mirrors with respect to each other.
