Sky-Watcher Polar Finder for HEQ5 / EQ3-2
Sky-Watcher Polar Finder for HEQ5 / EQ3-2
To be fully operational, an equatorial mount must be oriented so that its main axis (the right ascension axis) is aligned parallel to the Earth's rotation axis, meaning it must point towards the celestial pole. In the Northern Hemisphere, the celestial pole is located not far from the North Star, the main star of the Little Bear constellation.
Features
- Specifically designed for Sky-Watcher equatorial mounts type HEQ5, EQ3-2
- Increased precision for polar alignment
Usage
Polar alignment can be done quickly by roughly pointing the mount's axis towards the North Star, which is sufficient for standard observations. It can also be performed using a polar finder.

Ecommerce deliveries have a carbon footprint. That's why we support verified projects that remove carbon from the air.
Every delivery’s carbon footprint is calculated based on weight, shipping method, and distance traveled. We neutralize these emissions by purchasing verified carbon removal credits from groundbreaking projects. When you add a contribution to your order, 100% of that money is used to pay for additional carbon removal.
With your purchase, you’ll join a community of proactive merchants and customers dedicated to a sustainable future. Together, we've removed emissions for over 45 million deliveries and removed over 32 thousand tonnes of carbon.
We work with a network of pioneering carbon removal companies that have been vetted by the commerce platform Shopify.
