The ZWO ASI432MM camera is equipped with a 1.77 million pixel (1608 x 1104 px) monochrome CMOS sensor with a diagonal of 17.6 mm. At full resolution, it achieves a maximum acquisition speed of 120 frames per second with a 12-bit dynamic range. Its sensor size and pixel size (9 µm) make it ideal for imaging the Sun or the Moon. A global shutter facilitates capturing fast-moving subjects, such as the solar surface or artificial satellites. Additionally, the camera features extremely low read noise (2.4 e-) and high-capacity pixels (97,000 e-), ensuring sharp and detailed images.
